About Harmony House Bed & Breakfast

In 1937 Harmony House was home to St. Cecilia's School of Music. Hazard's mayor, Nan Gorman, was a student at St. Cecilia's and has since come back to Harmony House to delight staff with stories of young scholars playing piano in the parlor.

Upon entering the foyer you are greeted by an antique organ, violin, and a variety of other musical instruments that were part of the curriculum at St. Cecilia's. Guests will be thrilled to peruse a brochure from St. Cecilia's from the 1937-1938 school year which listed piano lesson prices as low as $4 a month!

Our company is based on the belief that the needs of our guests are of the utmost importance, and our team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat guests and referrals.

We offer a homemade breakfast each morning. The options for where to enjoy your breakfast is as plentiful as the comfort you'll receive during your stay. We at Harmony House strive for your stay to be unique to you, so you may choose to take your meal in the dining room, balcony, on the veranda, in the gazebo, or on the brick patio . We also offer complimentary refreshments in your room as well as a fresh baked snack each evening.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and assist you with the best overnight lodging in the area.
